This self-ship involves extremely unhealthy dynamics, as well as mentions of necrophilia, and zoophillia.

This self-ship is a coping mechanism due to having intrusive thoughts. With this self-ship, my goal is to try and help myself accept these thoughts, knowing that they are not truly ours.

As a reminder, thought crimes are not real, nor do I want to act on my thoughts. Consent is not able to be given by corpses, much less animals.

It should also, be rather obvious that I do not support Vladimir's actions.

(BORDER TBN) Who is Vladimir Makarov? (BORDER TBN)

Vladimir is from Call of Duty, Modern Warfare, specifically, Vova here is the '2009' version. Makarov is the main antagonist and leader of an ultranationalist terrorist group, he created WW3 and does not stop at anything to get what he believes should happen, often manipulating and causing general chaos to win despite, uncaring for general human life.

(BORDER TBN) Why do we like him? (BORDER TBN)

A) He's unfairly pretty and we're a fucking maso- I'm kidding.... not really. We 'officially' called him one of our self-ships on the 9th of August, 2026. But we have always found Vladimir pretty intresting, however at the time we weren't even a system, and didn't know what Yume or Self-shipping even was at the time- I think if we knew what it was sooner, Vladimir likely could of been our first self-ship instead of Leon Kennedy(add link). He is overall, a strange comfort character to us, and we can't fully explain it much. Our like for COD has actually came from us wanting to go into the military- not the result of the games themselves- however, we know this game is propaganda, obviously, but like everyone else, we are not immune to propaganda.

We also specifically chose '2009' Makarov, as we have not played, nor want to play, the newest Modern Warfare games. We have seen clips of the games, and frankly, they seem much more boring, especially since I prefer playing the campaigns rather than multiplayer, and the weird gambling, and other mechanics that are usually multiplayer getting shoved into the campaign just rubs me the wrong way. Also, they are fucking expensive. :/
