you look down at your radar. you've reached jupiter, a gas giant. but instead of gasses, it is filled with flowers and trees and alien wildlife. you pause, staring with awe at the new world around you. a world you never imagined could exist. the grass is thick and lavish with tiny creatures. the petals are dripping with gold. insects whizz and fancy in the beating sunlight. you take a breath of sweetest air.

Hello, this is my self ship page. "Selfship? But its James Sunderland" you ask yourself; I kin James, and ship these two together heavily, and so this was born. Instead of an OC or a persona, it's James! Despite it, I am very new to self shipping, this specific selfship started on the 25/04/2026.

I discovered this as a 'crack' ship early on when I started playing Silent hill 2- the remake that is. And I really fell in love with it after reading a few fanfictions of it, and honstly? They're perfect together. Unlike my kin memories, this is a 'I totally survived lol' alt universe where Silent hill and Resident evil are combined. I suppose in a way this is a ship to comfort me from my kin memories because they are unfortunately, very prevalent in my everyday life, as certain things are a little too close to home (as in real life).

What's funny is that, I actually picked up RE after this, playing RE8 first (Fun fact: I now kin Ethan Winters), then getting the OG RE4, and downloading RE7! In addition, I hope to be able to play the RE2 Remake, RE6, RE requiem, and the OG Silent Hill 2. I'm hoping that eventually I'll also set aside some time to watch a gameplay of RE The darkside chronicles, OG RE2, and finally, RE: Operation Raccoon city.

Yes, it's a lot, but I'm hoping to get a bit closer to this Yumeship, and get a better idea of the overall lore and stuff for RE in general.

I'm a little unsure about what 'type' of kin James is to me, other than possibly copingkin (or link, but that feels too distant for me) and just a regular otherkin kin.

But anyway, anough about kinning and kintypes, I am Hypersharing! I'd love to hear about others who are either yumeshipping with Leon or James! (Dont worry, I dont find it weird- just as long as you dont make it weird). As a reminder, this is a yumeship! Things will be very self-indulgent.

All in all, it's just two mentally ill guy's finding solstace in eachother to get past the horrors they've experienced and done :]

Trivia

  • Before James was able to get back a job, he would compulsively clean things, rearanging things if in the mood.
  • Eventually, after so many incidents where one woke up the other due to bumping into things while waking up in the middle of the night. A nightlight was bought.
  • Leon still has all his stuff from his time when he was a scene kid. It's kept in a few boxes that he sometimes brings out. Most of it was given to Ashley, but he still has a sizeable collection of the stuff, including CD's, Kandi, shirts, Jewelry, ect.
  • Leon's peircing have long closed due to his job, but he longs to get them repeirced again
  • Often, James collects little trinkets, mainly cool rocks, feathers, bottlecaps, anything he can find really while out on walks. All of these are put in a trinket box that Leon bought for him, with feathers going into their own little jar.
  • James has multiple acid burn type scars over his body from the lying figures, he is often quite self concious about them, prefering to wear a shirt, even if at a beach or swimming.
  • There are almost always flowers when Leon comes home from a mission.
  • Often if there is nothing to say, they'll stare at eachother, at whatever the other is doing.
  • Leon is a sheep in wolf's clothing, he was trained into violence. James is a wolf in sheep's clothing, it is innate and natural for him.
  • Leon likes sparkling water, and has an entire sparkling water maker, he uses it in place of drinking (alchol) when he feels he has nothing to do and is craving a drink.
